  • Project Organization & Planning:

During this step, the project and education plans are organized and responsibilities are agreed upon. This minimizes confusion and builds a strong sense of team work.

  • Education Foundation:

The education step is crucial to a successful implementation and will prepare your team for ongoing implementation activities. Guide Technologies’ education courses are designed to provide your team with a deep understanding of the complete functionality of your Infor ERP solution.

  • Business Model Stimulation:

Business model stimulation is a series of structured business pilots that are essential to providing a rapid and successful implementation. Through simulating your business operations, the business pilot process will clarify operational flows, business requirements, and minimized modification needs.

  • Issue Definition and Resolution:

During this step a pilot is preformed where the project team follows a carefully scripted series of exercises to explore all aspects of the Infor ERP solution. This enables Guide Technologies’ consultants to identify gaps between the  Infor ERP solution and your business processes, policies, and procedures.

  • System Design:

In this step a business pilot is performed in which Guide Technologies’ consultants build the base system by entering basic business data such as customers, vendors, orders, etc. Upon completion, a “walkthrough” of the system is conducted which shows progress and identifies any gaps that may still exist in the process flow. Resolution pilots are then performed in order to find the best solution for any existing issues in the implementation process.

  • Project Organization & Planning:

This activity involves the project team developing operational procedures in the appropriate format and level of detail. During this step Guide Technologies’ consultants work with your team to create reports, forms, or anything else that may be required for your chosen Infor ERP solution.

  • Cutover Planning:

A cutover plan is developed, procedures are created, and the plan is tested. This protects existing user data, minimizes the risk of disrupting business operations, and ensures a smooth final data conversion.

  • System Documentation:

This step is to finalize all documentation of process and procedures throughout the implementation.

  • System Test:

This is the last pilot in the series and is a ‘dress rehearsal’ for the system go-live. At this point all issues are resolved, policies & procedures documented, and custom development completed.

  • Data Load & Setup:

During this step, data mapping and conversion planning (cutover plan) to convert existing data to the new system are completed.

  • End User Documentation & Training:

It is during this step that end users are trained on how to perform their jobs using the new system and policies & procedures developed earlier. At Guide Technologies, we believe the customer needs to become the owner and driver of their Infor ERP solution, which is why we recommend your team deliver the training. Of course Guide Technologies’ consultants are available to assist with end user training if requested.

  • Live Cutover:

This is when all the data is converted into the new Infor ERP solution. The goal of Guide Technologies is for the live cutover to be seamless and transparent to users.

  • Project Organization & Planning:

Post Implementation Support:Guide Technologies’ consultants go through a post implementation review with your team. This provides a formal project review to ensure that the Infor ERP solution is operating seamlessly and addressing all of your business operational issues. Guide Technologies’ consultants can support your team throughout the post go-live phase to ensure the optimal performance of your Infor ERP solution.
